EmailAddress: D666D@world.att.net
Remarks: Served in 2nd and 43rd missle battalion in Sylvester, Ga (near Albany, Ga) A Battery 1960-1963. Visited the old site recently and the launching area is now a automobile salvage yard. The IFC area is a retirement home for old soldiers. Don't know about B Battery. Will try to locate some pictures and put them out there for anyone to see. I am looking for some old army buddies that I have lost track of. If anyone runs across or knows where Eugene (Gene) Odell Bowman is or Lawrence Salvatore (could be Salvatore Lawrence) Sorrentino please let them know that West is looking for them. Gene was originally from Portland, Oregeon and Salvatore (Sal) from New York, NY. Gene re-enlisted but Sal didn't. Heard from another internet source that Gene was sent to Thule, Greenland. Don't know where he went from there. Did locate one buddy, Terry Tucker and visited him in 1998. He's in Boise, Idaho and his e-mail address is TTSRFR@AOL.COM Thanks, Ted

Name: Louie Malkin
EmailAddress: LouieTeach@aol.com
Remarks: I'm happy to see links being established between the wild assortment of various characters who share so much in common despite all our differences. Would kill to hoist an e-beer or two with the likes of Chuck Schmeckpeper, Reggie Adams, Wade Motter, Larry Yocum, Fred Mitchum, Fred Bosch, Jim Murphy, Tommy McLain. Harry Stauffer, Harry Lieberman, Curtis Butler, Ronnie Grooms, Ray Henry, and the countless other personalities (including Hawkmen with whom I bunked for awhile) who made my sentence--that is, enlistment--more bearable, and proved for all time that truth is stranger, and better, than fiction. And, for any who dwelt in Bldg. 3434 (Redstone) in 1966, it WAS NOT me who tossed the Air Wicks in the urinals. The Saturday inspection was not my fault! Webmaster's Note: Louie was at Redstone Arsenal, AL as a 23U20 Student in the 1st ETC, STC amd rank of Pvt from 4/66 to 11/66 and in the 6th ETC, STC with rank of PFC from 11/66 to 4/67.
