Would kill to hoist an e-beer or two with the likes of Chuck Schmeckpeper, Reggie Adams, Wade Motter, Larry Yocum, Fred Mitchum, Fred Bosch, Jim Murphy, Tommy McLain. Harry Stauffer, Harry Lieberman, Curtis Butler, Ronnie Grooms, Ray Henry, and the countless other personalities (including Hawkmen with whom I bunked for awhile) who made my sentence--that is, enlistment--more bearable, and proved for all time that truth is stranger, and better, than fiction. And, for any who dwelt in Bldg. 3434 (Redstone) in 1966, it WAS NOT me who tossed the Air Wicks in the urinals. The Saturday inspection was not my fault!
